In
wool spinning & weaving field, Tianjin has a glorious past
and some top woolen mills of the country. With the growth of
wool spinning & weaving in the world, traditional woolen
fabrics faces the challenge that garment fashion is turning
towards leisurewear style. So woolen mills need to seek their
own advantages, base themselves upon innovation, and adapt for
various consumer’s needs according to changes of the
markets. The projects of wool spinning & weaving in the
park are oriented to high efficiency, high benefit, high
technology, and new products. The products will be high-grade
woolen fabrics. The two projects in this part are as follows.
I.
Worsted fabrics project
1. Total investment of the project: USD44.32 million
2. The products of the project: worsted fabrics and woolen
cloth
3. Production scale: annual output 3.3 million meters of
worsted fabrics, and 0.8 million meters of woolen cloth
4. Annual sales: USD42.07 million
5. Ratio of profit to investment: 14.59%
6. Investment recovery period: 6.91 years

Knitting wool and wool knitted garment project
1. Total investment of the project: USD20.63 million
2. The products of the project: wool (knitting wool) and wool
knitted garment
3. Production scale: annual output 1,500 tons of wool
(knitting wool) and 200,000 pieces of wool knitted garments
4. Annual sales: USD15.1 million
5. Ratio of profit to investment: 14.07%
6. Investment recovery period: 7.56 years
